Blue Minkのヴォーカルとしても活躍したソウル・ディーヴァMadeline Bellの76年作。ブラジリアン・ソウルの最高傑作”That's What Friends Are For”は名曲ですね。Jazzmanが再発したAlan Parker名義でのライブラリー・アルバム”The Voice Of Soul”に収録されたファンキー・ヴァージョンも傑作ですが、やはりこのアルバムに収録のブラジリアンなヴァージョンが最高ですね。更にはK.C. & The Sunshine Bandの傑作ディスコ”That’s The Way (I Like It)”がブギー／ディスコ系にはお薦め！サウンドはK.C. & The Sunshine Bandに近いですがMadeline Bellのソウルフルなヴォーカルはある意味オリジナル以上に素晴らしいです！ソウル・ファン、ブラジル・ファン共にお薦めです！本作はUKオリジナル盤と同年リリースのスペイン盤です。
